Jock Peters trained as an architect under Peter Behrens in Germany during the 1910s. He immigrated to Los Angeles in 1922, and soon became an art director at Paramount Studios. His most famous commission was the interior for the Art Deco masterpiece, Bullock's Wilshire in 1928.
